This season, the trendy color is brown, replacing black as the new must-have in fall fashion. However, finding brown slacks can still be a challenge. Luckily, Theory has launched several new styles in its fall collection.
The new styles of brown slacks from Theory include the Teeca Crepe Pull-On Pants, a classic tailored pair I purchased. Generally, I avoid an elastic waistband. It provides too much temptation to overeat. However, these ankle-length pants manage to prevent that vibe, and they make dressing super-fast. I also tried on Theory’s Wool Pull Crop Pants. I loved the wool fabric, but cropped pants are more of a summer go-to for me. For a trendy twist, there’s the Theory Kick Pant with its Kick flare-leg silhouette and a concealed zip closure.

Brown pairs well with so many colors. It matches many of the tops and sweaters I already have in my closet. These include my pink crewneck cashmere sweater from Bloomingdale’s.

I also plan to purchase Lauren’s Turtleneck Sweater in Classic Camel to go with the slacks.
